The residents of Tea Rock Gardens in Marshfield hosted a yard sale on Saturday, August 19th. They had over 100 people come up to find that diamond in the rough. Residents had everything under the sun up for sale, including exercise equipment, artwork, clothing, and antiques. Tearockers also raised money by coordinating a 50/50 raffle and bake sale. Marshfield Housing Authority residents were able to raise over $500! Proceeds from the event will be reinvested by the residents to fund an upcoming Halloween and holiday party in coming months. One man’s trash is another man’s treasure, and MHA residents surely made their mark. Thank you to the resident organizers for the event, and we look forward to what’s up next.
