Leased Housing Supervisor
The Quincy Housing Authority has an employment opportunity for a Leased Housing Supervisor. Responsibilities include overseeing the day to day operations of the Leased Housing Department, Working with the Director of Administration/Finance and Leased Housing, coordinating and evaluating all office operations and provides support to create or modify procedures and policies. Organize and prioritizes office tasks to fulfill all administrative requirements and timelines. Provides direction to Leased Housing staff in support of various projects and initiatives. Monitors and performs employee performance, provides in service training and, in conjunction with the Director of Administration/Finance and Leased Housing, take disciplinary actions when required. Helps answer questions and resolve administrative problems that arise in connection with rental assistance programs.
Salary is $ 76,167 annually. This position is in the AFSCME Union. Two years of college education in human services related subjects or three years experience in related position required. Prior experience working with tenants, particularly low-income tenants, preferred.
Leased Housing Inspector
The Leased Housing Department has an opening for a Leased Housing Inspector. Responsibilities include but are not limited to, performing and scheduling inspections for initials, annuals and re-inspections, entering inspections into the inspections data base, corresponding with landlords on inspection results, fielding phone calls regarding inspectional issues, sending inspection reports, conducting rental market survey, rent reasonableness surveys, assists in making rent reasonableness determinations and performing all related work as required.
Annual starting salary is $63,772.80 plus benefits.
Accounts Payable Clerk
The Quincy Housing Authority has an employment opportunity for an Accounts Payable Clerk. The Accounts Payable Clerk is responsible for the prompt and accurate payment of all accounts payable and the recording of accounting data payments. He/she performs other accounting duties and prepares and maintains the employee payroll data file in a web-based system. The incumbent is responsible for maintaining a vendor invoice suspense file, purchase order vendor payment file, and vendor paid file. He/she also is responsible for entries against auto posting ledgers and provides assistance to the Director of Finance. The incumbent maintains a complete understanding of the principles of bookkeeping and understanding of federal and state tax laws applicable to sales and employee withholding. The incumbent is held to a high standard of maintaining confidentiality of records. Provides necessary monthly entries and performs other miscellaneous account responsibilities, including maintaining accounting ledger and preparing monthly account summary reports.
A working knowledge of MS Office, Excel, and Microsoft Word is required. Performs other related duties of the position as assigned. Salary is $56,547.40 annually. A high school diploma and two years prior bookkeeping experience is required.
